Bogdan is a composer, producer, and pianist based in Hamburg.

Growing up in a musical family, with his father a professional accordionist and his mother a studied conductor for a Russian folk orchestra, he developed a love for music from an early age. Surrounded by classical, folk, musette and tango nuevo, these influences continue to shape his work.

He began playing piano at six, participating in youth competitions and attending piano workshops in Florence, further developing his classical training. While studying Music Production at university, he discovered electronic music as well as recording and producing. During this time, his focus shifted toward composition leading him to discover his passion for scoring film and therefore the goal of becoming a film composer.

After graduating, Bogdan spent several years of composing for international campaigns for brands such as Sony, Adidas, Apple and Marc O'Polo, while also working on short and feature-length films and gaining on-set experience as a sound and music supervisor.

Alongside commissioned work, he develops multiple personal artist projects, including his instrumental alias Velt, reaching millions of streams and performing live, including at the Reethaus in Berlin.
